I couldn’t have agreed with them more. My love for photographing and documenting significant glimpses of my clients’ lives grows stronger every single day. I am so lucky and grateful that I am trusted by so many to capture once-in-a-lifetime moments. With every click of my shutter, I am able to tell your narrative. I’m one of the lucky ones who was able to turn my hobby into a career. Kathryn Claire Bilek is my full name, but if you want to get my attention quickly, Katy is the way to go. As the youngest of four daughters, I'm thankful I get to use my passion and business to keep the Bilek Family name alive. I am a born + raised Clevelander (...well a suburban “Clevelander”)! I love enjoying & photographing the beautiful architecture of downtown Cleveland in the Flats or on East 4th, our amazing Metroparks, and any other iconic nook and cranny this city has.

Megan Thee Stallion said it best, “2021 finna graduate college” and I took that to heart. I graduated from Kent State University in May of 2021 with a degree in Communication Studies and a concentration in Applied Communication. I also minored in Italian Studies and Photo Illustration (see, I AM qualified! ;) ). Call me Hannah Montana because I get the “Best of Both Worlds'' as I work for a Marketing Firm 9 to 5 on weekdays and I simultaneously run my own business. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue my love and passion for photography.
Fun Facts:
-For my astrology lovers, I’m an Aquarius (unfortunately, I don’t know what time I was born.)
-I love to do my makeup and hair! I believe in expressing myself through fun eyeshadow and vibrant hair colors!
-Traveling is good for the soul and I try to do it often (and as safely as possible)! Siena, Italy is one of my favorite places.
-I have a big extended family, so during your sessions or wedding, I'm a pro at wrangling everyone up and getting their attention!
-Who doesn’t love babies??? I will absolutely make a fool out of myself behind the camera if it means we get to hear cute giggles from the whole fam & capture those smiles!
-I dabble in self-portraiture every now and again (the recreation of Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR album was one of those times!)
-Criminal Minds is my favorite show to watch while I edit photos. I can recite most episodes word for word!
-I love all types of music and encourage listening to your favorite songs during your session! (Brownie points will be awarded if you play Ariana Grande.)
