Wedding Tips from an Ohio Photographer

FILED IN: Wedding

As an Ohio photographer, I have helped so many of my brides with deciding how much time they need to hire me for. It’s a very constant question, so I wanted to give some advice on that topic for this blog post to help any Ohio brides out there. The most important decision for your wedding photography is how much coverage you are going to book. The more time I’m with you, the more photos you’ll ultimately receive! I always offer timeline assistance to help my clients choose the perfect package so they can get the photos they want without being rushed.

Shahed & Kyle | Ohio Photographer Wedding Tips

Shahed and Kyle’s wedding was stunning. It was at the Metropolitan at the 9 in Cleveland, Ohio! This venue is so classy and modern and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re an Ohio bride looking for a wedding venue! I was at this wedding from the very beginning of the day until the very end of the day: from getting ready to the exit. I like to tell my clients during our consultation calls that the amount of coverage they want is highly dependent on what parts of their day they want to showcase. Are you wanting getting ready photos along with send off photos? You most likely need an all day coverage package with your Ohio Photographer.

My packages typically range from 6 to 10 hours. What could this potentially cover?

  • First Look
  • The Ceremony
  • Portraits of the couple
  • Family Photos
  • Wedding Party Photos
  • Getting Ready Photos
  • Detail photos
  • Reception Events (Speeches, First Dances, cake cutting, open dancing)

That’s a lot of what could be captured! It’s up to YOU and ME to help you decide based on your budget and timeline what can fit into your day without making it stressful. My goal is to make sure your photos feel natural and candid.

Ohio Wedding Day at The Metropolitan 9

This wedding day was truly so much fun to capture! Shahed and Kyle’s love is truly electric. It sounds cliche, but you could honestly feel it in the air. They were open to any types of poses and they allowed a lot of time for portraits. As a couple, they planned for a lot of time for photos and they made sure that they communicated that with their wedding planner as well. Nothing on their day felt rushed and I believe this allowed us to grab the most care-free and happy photos!
